Ski Team during the era of the “Crazy Canucks” provided
additional insights into the power of teams. Downhill
ski racing is an individual sport as you race against
the clock, reaching speeds of 130 km, trying to
beat everyone - even your teammates. The Canadian
team trained together and produced the World Champion
Steve Podborski. The lesson for business is that
there was strong internal competition which inspired
and challenged everyone to perform at their best."
